This event is to be held in Surat, Gujarat, India, January 20 - 21, 2012.
Scientist, Engineers and others interested in Thermal, Fluid and
Manufacturing Science are invited to attend and participate in this
event. The technical program consists of oral sessions of contributed
papers. Invited lectures are given by eminent specialists.
The institute C. K. Pithawalla College of Engineering & Technology, Surat is one of the leading technical institutes of Gujarat, India, established in 1998 under Navyug Vidhyabhavan Trust. The institute spans over an area of 100 acres near the picturesque Bank of river Tapi.
The Institute offers five UG courses in engineering discipline with approved intake of 420 students per year (with Total of 1680 students). The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the pioneering departments of the institute. The R&D work in different fields of mechanical Engineering is being carried out with the support of well-equipped Laboratories, workshops, and computing facilities.
The Institution of Engineers (India), IE (I), is a multidisciplinary professional body that encompasses fifteen engineering disciplines and gives engineers a global platform to share Professional interests. IE (I), South Gujarat Local Center (SGLC) was established in 1976 as a center of IE (I) Calcutta & upgraded to local center in 1988 for South Gujarat Region. This facility is extended to IE (I) SGLC members and AMIE registered students to organize different technical events in Association with surrounding academic Institutions & Industries.
